Coastal Resources is a real estate development company that has owned, managed, and developed office and retail projects in Northeast Florida since 1996.

The owner of Coastal Resources is Guy Patterson who attended the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida receiving a degree in electrical engineering. Guy worked in the electronic manufacturing business for 15 years ending with the ownership of a manufacturing sales organization representing off shore electronic manufacturers. Guy started Coastal Resources in 1995 to purchase the Deerwood Village Mall a 75,000 SF shopping center located in Jacksonville, Florida at the corner of Baymeadows Road and Southside Boulevard.

Guy's assistant, Katie Kirchner attended the University of North Florida receiving a degree in public relations. Katie has worked in the restaurant/hospitality industry for 10 years and began working in the commercial real estate field in 2003. She assists Guy in marketing and selling new projects that Coastal Resources develops.

Since the sale of the mall in 2000 Coastal Resources has developed numerous projects in Northeast Florida including 40,000 SF office/warehouse space in Ormond Beach, FL; 65,000 SF of medical, commercial and retail space in St. Johns County along CR 210; 80,000 SF of medical and commercial office on the 9A corridor near St. Johns Town Center. Current projects include medical office space in North Jacksonville and office/warehouse space on St. Johns Bluff Road and on San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin.
